Haakon sure had week last week.
Mommy left for 3 nights to Dallas for the Mary Kay Seminar. That proved to be a challenge for all three of us. But we all survived and Haakon seems happy again now that he can nurse as normal.
Haakon now has a bug. He is on the mend but yesterday he was not feeling so great. fever and all. It is so hard to see him sick. It just breaks our heart.
We are getting so excited to go home to Minnesota in August! Grandma Barb got us tickets to fly home. We can't wait to see everyone and especially can't wait for Lisa and Saul's wedding on the 20th.Comments:Add a comment:

The Long Journey to Texas Continued...
Well, we made it. We are now in Texas. Uff da this place is hot.
We (Haakon and Mommy) arrived to Texas on Thursday, June 23. We flew into Houston where Daddy and Grandpa Seeger picked us up and drove us to our new house. Before then we stopped for supper to celebrate Grandpa Seeger's birthday!
It sure was a crazy move. First the car accident and totaling the car on Saturday the 18th and then finding out we could not close on the house till Wednesday the 22nd after all. It was a good thing we never made it there before then. We would have been homeless for a few day plus there was now electricity or gas in the house. Apparently in Texas they shut everything off and then you have to have it turned back on. We did not realize that till we got there. Crazy!
Thankfully we have power now. And praise the Lord the Water co made a mistake and forgot to turn off the water so we at least had that to begin with. We still do not have high speed internet which explains why I have not been updating Haakon's site with pictures. Next we will will get that and you will be flooded with new pictures.
Our new house is getting cozier each day and Haakon is finally starting to adjust better. Poor Grant works long long days. He leaves the house about 6:30am and if we are lucky we see him about 9pm when he gets home.
We have the sweetest next door neighbor girls! Sue, Tara, and Jeana. They even got a baby swing to put on their swing set for Haakon to go swinging in. They have been so nice to show us where the best places are to go grocery shop, clothes shop, get your car fixed, etc...
We are very anxious to be home in Minnesota in August for Lisa & Saul's wedding.Comments:Add a comment:
