Well, Haakon has sure had some adventures over the last several days.
Friday the 17th the movers came to take all our things to Texas. They are to be delivering them today.
Saturday morning Haakon, Grandma Vickie, and Mommy headed for Texas. We only got to Des Moines when we were in a car accident. Our Heavenly Father protected us from any harm. The car on the other had does not look so good after someone ran into it.
We got a rental and drove back to the cities. Now we are just waiting to hear whether the car is totaled or not.
We will write more again to finish this story of the Long Journey to Texas.Comments:Add a comment:

Last Friday Haakon had his 6 month check up. All was good with him. He weighed in at 18 pounds and 7 ounces. He is 26.5 inches tall.
Poor Haakon has been a little sick, well we all have. Our first family sickness. Grant first came home with a cold and now Haakon and I are coughing too.
Last week we were so lucky to have Alyana stay with us. She was an amazing help with the packing and the playing with Haakon. We thank her for that!
This past weekend we were up north breifly for the last time till we come in August. Our dear friend Tanya got married and Bridget and I were to sing for her wedding. Bridget did a beautiful job singing. I lost my voice the day before the wedding. Haakon and I had our pictures taken at Thoughts & Shots and then had a lovely lunch at Auntie Cal's with Cara, Kim, Kenzie, Meghan, & Olivia. That was so much fun!!!!
Saturday night we came back after the wedding to lots of water in the basement. Haakon and I were not much help in cleaning it up but we tried.
Sunday afternoon we got to visit with Grandma & Grandpa Seeger and Uncle Drew and Diego.
It was really strange saying goodbye to everyone. It still does not seem real that we are moving even though the whole house is in a packing craziness.
Can't believe we are moving in less then a week. Hope Haakon likes his new house in Texas. I am sure he will miss Minnesota too and all his family and friends.Comments:Add a comment:

Is it June already???
Where has the time gone? Each day Haakon is noticing more and more things disappearing around the house as we begin to pack for our move to Texas. Father's Day weekend will be our moving out and in time.
I just pray that Haakon will be ready for a long car ride.
Haakon has been such a healthy little guy up until now. He has developed a bit of a cold. He is stuffed up and has a runny nose. Poor little thing. He sure is a good sport though and has a happy attitude. He is really starting to enjoy and appreciate books more too which makes reading to him all the more enjoyable. Emma borrowed us a bunch of her favorites. Haakon seems to love the stories. He is really fond of the mouse book and the Jan Brett books.
Last night he finished his squash and we had some peaches too. He loved it and made a great big mess. It was fun to see him enjoying eating so much.Comments:Add a comment:
