    It was a busy weekend!
We had lots of fun hosting a bridal shower for Auntie Lisa. Auntie Laynie and I made small wedding cake too. Haakon so wanted a piece but we said that by her wedding in August he just might be able to try some cake then. Haakon sure enjoyed seeing his Grandma Seeger and Aunties and meeting Marco too.

We also got to visit with the Ranum's at Emma's Confirmation and lovely Italian dinner that Mary made. Haakon loved all the attention.

Yesterday we got to go visit Georgie Widman. Haakon was so excited to see his buddy. He does feel really bad about pulling his hair though. He tried to make up for it by giving Georgie a kiss. Georgie sure has grown and is a cute as can be! Haakon will sure miss him when we move to Texas.

Haakon is 5 months old today! So hard to believe. Uff da, babies grow way to fast. I thought the 9 months dragged out forever and now he is already 5 months old???

Grant is coming home from Texas today after house hunting. I think he has done very well. At this moment we are not for sure which one we will be living in but they all seem great to me. Just wish Texas was not so far from Minnesota.

Auntie Lisa spent the night last night. Haakon loves company. He said awake as long as he could.

This weekend Grandpa and Granmama Stortroen came for a visit. We had a fun time shopping with them for new shoes and a jacket for Haakon. We got to go visit Great-Grandpa & Grandma Ranum and then Sunday after church we grilled out with Master Griller Uncle Ryan and Auntie Bridget at our house. It was fun and Grandpa babysat for a bit while the girls did some shopping for all the wedding showers! :)

Haakon is really taking a good nap. I am getting lots done which is so thrilling. He does not usually like to sleep long because I think he will worry he is missing out on something. He is so precious!

This weekend Grant is going to Texas to find a new house there. We are praying the Lord will lead him to the right home for us and we pray that someone will buy our house in Roseville soon.

Some of Haakon's favorite things to do are:
Play in his walker that used to be Ruth and Emma's.
    Suck on his toes
    Play airplane with Daddy
Play with his Thomas the Trains
    Talk on the cell phone
    And of course eat.

He is really getting interested in what we are eating and would love to eat big people food too.

He is such a good little guy and quite content and happy. He loves to be talked to and played with and held which we are awarded with smiles, giggles, and coos in return.

Haakon is so lovable. I can't imagine our world without him. We are so thankful to God for sending him to us.

I think Haakon is getting to not like his pacifier. We are really surprised! Our little boy is growing up! As of recent we give him his NUK and he just spits it out. He does not need to suck on it. Haakon is just so facinated with his surroundings. He loves to be outside and go for walks in the park. Lately it has been a bit rainy so we have not been out much which disapoints us. But we find fun games to play and read good books too. Well he is up from his nap so we will have to fill you in more later!
