We are moving...
On our Flordia/Texas trip Grant had an interview in Galveston, Texas for a residency program in Rad Onc. A couple days after the interview he got a call back saying that he was accepted! He thinks it is a miracle. He did not "match" 2 years in a row, but that was God's way of saying, "I have something better for you. Just be patient." Sure enough, this is a fabulous program and he was accepted! What an answer to prayer, and also, he will be done in just 4 years instead of 6 more years.
This will be a hard move for us because we will be so far from Family and friends. Hopefully we can travel up north lots and receive visitors too.
We move the end of June. But we will be back to Minnesota after the residency is over with.Comments:Add a comment:

Poor Haakon had to get more shots today. Uff da. This time he did better then the last time. I figured out it might be a bit easier to wear "shot friendly clothing" So we stuck with pants and a onesie. After the doctor examined him we got all dress and then got his shots so that way he did not have to be tortured some more with getting dressed. They also gave him better bandaids. Bugs Bunny ones that come off way easier then those icky sticky ones. He did not cry quite as long this time and afterwards I nursed him right away which helped. He weighed in at 15 pounds 9 onces and was 24 1/2 inches. Not a significant as the previous appointment as far as weight gain goes. According to the doctor he is healthy and normal. Praise the Lord!!!
