Haakon still loves to spit up. He seems to be getting a little better. We have our dry days and our wet days.
When we were visiting the doctor, we asked him about his love for spitting up and the doctor asked me how much he spits hp. I told him, 1/2 cup to a whole cup at times. He thought for sure I was exagerating. He said it is probably more like a tablespoon and that I should try dumping one out and seeing how much it is. I told him, I cook and measure and spill often and know exactly how much a tablespoon is. I tried to asure him that if he spit up a tablespoon amount I would not even flinch. It is when it turns to be more like 1/2 cup and I get wet and I wonder why I don't dress us all up in rain gear and water boots. Not to mention covering the furniture in plastic.
I have thought of running a clothes line from one end of the house to the other to hang burp clothes on. Oh well, I guess I will just hope and pray that each day gets better.
As far as diapers go, I have learned much. Huges do NOT pass the Baby Test. He leaks with those without fail. We are trying out Pampers right now. The only time the poop escapes the diaper is if he is wearing his cute plane shirt and cords. It is without fail that I dress him in that outfit that within an hour it is destroyed and in the wash.
Haakon is a fabulous sleeper at night. All night this week he has slept from 6.5 to 8 hours. I am amazed and consider myself very blessed to have such a good baby.Comments:Add a comment:

Yesterday was Haakon's 2 month appointment and he had his shots.
Poor guy, was so sad. He did end up getting a little temp. We rocked and cuddled.
The fun part of the appointment was to see how much he weighed and how tall he was. He is now 13 pounds and 2 feet tall.
Haakon is smiling more and talking. He is just charming.
Some of his favorite past times are blowing bubbles, sucking on his NUK and eating of course! He also likes to play with his fishes and Podge the new monster. He is starting to enjoy reading books with Mom and Dad.

It is about time we updated Haakon's adventures.
Some of his favorite activities have been...
Visiting his Grandparents in Climax and Red Lake Falls.
Seeing his Uncle Drew's hockey game and seeing where his Daddy played hockey when he was a boy.
Seeing his Auntie Sarah cheer at a basketball game. Haakon was fascinated with all the girls running up and down the court. He was quite impressed with the fancy pom poms shaking and seeing Sarah fly and jump.
He took a trip downtown to have lunch with Auntie Bridget and meet all the ladies in the infant buying department.
Haakon also got to go with to on the Wedding Dress trip with Auntie Lisa. He is quite a social baby and is rather well behaved in public. (as long as his tummmy is full).
Haakon has developed some baby acne. Not very pretty. He beautiful complection is all covered with these spots. Poor little fellow. We still love him though.
Mommy and Daddy can't get enough of his talking and smiling.
At this point in his life I think the top two important needs are burp cloths, and pacifiers. Can't go anywhere without them.
He is sleeping great these days. Six hours is the record. We are so proud.
We truly feel so blessed by the Lord to have such a precious son. We just pray daily that we can be the best parents to Haakon.Comments:Add a comment:
