Haakon is now a week old. He is already getting fuller and changing so much.
He still likes to stay up most of the night but we did find that when it comes to laying him down, the best place he likes to nap when he is not cuddled up with us is my doll cradle.
He fits perfect in it and looks adorable too! There are some pictures of him in the cradle.
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and Haakon's first Christmas. We are sad we could not make it up north to visit Grant's family. With the weather being so cold and Haakon so new we decided to stay put. But come January we plan to travel northwards. We are praying for warmer weather and clear roads and Haakon napping most of the way!
He loves to eat. He sure knows how to let us know he is hungery.
We are enjoying every minute! Even the sleepless ones.
What a miracle he truly is and such a special Christmas present straight from Heaven above.
We pray daily that we can be the best parents possible for little Haakon. What a huge job before us but it is one we are so thankful to be given the honor to have.Comments:Add a comment:

Haakon rolled over!!! He rolled from his tummy to his back while on the living room floor. Uff da he is a strong little man.

We came home from the hospital today. It is so good to be home. We were sure tired of hospital food and poor Grant was sure glad to sleep in his own bed. Haakon snuggled in well too.
